My names Gabrielle, I live in Pensacola, FL. I really enjoy yoga, self-improvement, marketing, vegetarianism, cooking..reading…Bravo, E! I’m a mix of all things professional and fun. I hope to write about great things I’ve learned in hopes that other people can find each day as inspiring as I do.

  1. I greatly appreciated your article in Tiny Buddha. I am a mother (of one), wife and full-time student. I [very] often forget to enjoy my alone time. When I do have alone time its spent thinking of the things I have to do around the house. True, they can wait but I find it hard to keep my mind from racing. I believe much of my distracting mind was due to social media. I had a Facebook account but closed it three months ago, due to the drama and dirty laundry being displayed every other day. I say with pleasure and delight that I don’t regret it one bit! It was actually quite uplifting and felt as though a boulder had been lifted from my shoulders. How sad. Now I believe I started a trend within my circle. My husband, mother and brother all closed their accounts and vowed to call rather than text. Like you suggested savor the moments we have with loved ones! 🙂 I look forward to your posts and wish you much success!

    • Thanks, Monique! I think we all go through that kind of thing.. You just have to remember the only person who’s opinion matters- is yours! (and the family)

  2. That was a great article you put up on tiny Buddha. Very thought provoking. I found spending time alone to be something spiritual and uplifting. Thanks again for the great article
